Our U.K. Locations

Dorking

Our open and vibrant Dorking offices are in a tranquil location set in 83 acres of land on the outskirts of the town. With a free shuttle bus service to and from Dorking station in the morning and evening, it’s easily accessible. There are also bike storage facilities, together with a changing room and showers and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with a ‘dress for your day’ dress code. Our hot desk policy means you can move around the different floors to find a spot that suits you. Our employees based here enjoy access to a variety of facilities. As well as a selection of meeting rooms and open spaces, you can take advantage of the on-site restaurant, which serves snacks throughout the day and a wide selection of meals at lunchtime. There are also vending machines offering free hot drinks on every floor and a fridge and microwave. On-site leisure facilities include a gym, tennis court and croquet lawn.

Basingstoke

Our Basingstoke offices are in a busy business park, just a short walk from the town centre and a 10-minute walk away from Basingstoke railway station, offering plenty of lunchtime options. There’s a regular bus service to the park, as well as bicycle racks. With around 200 people based here, it can be a busy working atmosphere at times, but there are plenty of areas where you can find a quiet space if you need to focus.

Our dedicated Learning and Development team will ensure you have everything you need to develop our abilities and achieve your full potential. This means you'll have a wide variety of opportunities to build on your skills to meet both professional and persona challenges.
We'll adapt to your needs.
We believe a strong work, life balance enables you to perform at your best. That's why, where possible, we try to offer alternative work arrangements, such as part time hours, job share options and term time working. We also take part in the Britain's Healthiest Workplace competition and use this to benchmark our progress and success.
We'll recognise your great work.
When you go the extra mile for us, we're committed to do the same for you. So, our reward and recognition system is designed to acknowledge your hard work and dedication, including quarterly awards for managers, individuals and teams.
We'll invest in your health and wellbeing.
This is one of the key services we offer to clients, so naturally, we put your wellbeing at the top of our agenda. Our COO sponsors our Health and Wellbeing Committee. This employee-led group implements programmes and initiatives that help target the health risks affecting our employees. You'll be offered six-monthly health checks that measure your height, weight, cholesterol, BMI and blood glucose levels. You can also access our wellbeing platform and app, which includes tracking tools to support a healthy lifestyle. We also take part in the Britain's Healthiest Workplace competition and use this to benchmark our progress and success.
We'll invest in your mental wellbeing.
We believe your mental health is as important as your physical health. So, in 2016, we worked with Mind to produce Added Value: metnal health as a workplace asset. We followed this up with an initiative to enable some of our senior leaders to share what they do to look after their mental wellbeing. In short, we aim to make this not only a great place to work, but one that supports your health and wellbeing so you can be your best.
We'll offer you help where we can.
Unum LifeWorks is a completely confidential employee assistance programme that's available to all our employees and their immediate family, 24 hours a day. Whether you're looking for support, information or resources, Unum LifeWorks is here to help.
