We are proud to be one of the first firms to sign the Women in Finance Charter. To meet the requirements of the Charter we have:
When we signed up to the Women in Finance Charter in 2017, we had 20% female representation at our Executive Committee. As of 11th September 2020, we are pleased to report that women now represent 33.3% of our Executive Team, almost 36% of our senior management team and 33% at Board level.
Whilst this is good progress, 2020 has been an unprecedented year due to the pandemic, and all organisations have encountered seismic changes to the future of work. Over the next twelve months we will be closely examining how to adapt our business practices to ensure we can emerge stronger post-pandemic, and so that we can continue to attract, recruit and retain top talent in line with our ongoing Inclusion & Diversity commitments. We recognise we do still have some work to do to meet our targets and this could be impacted by the current uncertain economic outlook, however we do believe we are currently still on track to meet our Charter targets by our deadline and we will be closely monitoring this.
Last year, in line with our broader Inclusion and Diversity goals and commitment to Gender Equality throughout the organisation, we also set ourselves an increased target of having at least 40% female representation across our broader senior leadership team (the top 8% of our organisation). As at 11th September 2020, we currently have 61 employees at this level, 22 of which are female (36%).
We continue to identify critical capabilities to support our strategic priorities and deliver a flexible and inclusive model for developing talent for the future of work. As part of this we will be strengthening our external partnerships and outreach for future roles that arise.
We are pleased to be a signatory of the Race at Work Charter and have committed to helping improve racial equality in the workplace. For more information, click here.
