Career Transition Support
Through the DOD SkillBridge program, their Hiring our Heroes program and our partnership with Boots2Roots Maine, we connect transitioning service members with meaningful civilian career opportunities. SkillBridge offers hands-on industry experience during the final 180 days of service, and Hiring our Heroes provides professional training and hands-on experience in the civilian workforce through internships and fellowships. Boots2Roots supports active-duty members up to 18 months before separation, helping them find purposeful work and strengthening Maine’s workforce pipeline.
